The picture on the left is what your cube should look like at this point. Find a edge peace that needs to be put into the top layer.It will either be int the wrong place on the top of the cube on the bottom, one of the sides or on the center layer. If it is on one of the sides or on the bottom Hold the cube so that the spot you are trying to put it in is the front.(facing you).
  Know turn the bottom row till the cubelet that you are trying to place int the top row is directly below where it need to be.If the white part of the edge peace you are moving  is on the front then do the following.
  If it is on the bottom then do this.
   If it is in the center layer then hold the cube so white is the top and the white part of the edge peace that you want to move is on the front of the cube. Now turn just the top layer till the spot you want the edge peace to be is directly over the edge peace that you want to move. If that puts the edge peace on the left side of the front do this move.
If that puts the edge peace on the right side of the front do this move.
  Thats it for the top layer and your cube should look like the picture the left. Now you are only seven moves away from solving the rubiks cube. You can move on to the center layer now.The link is located in the left navigation bar.
